2. No Connection to NosTale

Nosbreak is a fan-made private server and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or connected to NosTale or its rights holders (including Entwell Co., Ltd. / Gameforge). We have no official or commercial relationship with NosTale. All services, purchases, and donations on Nosbreak are provided and operated independently.

3. Data We Collect

Depending on how you use Nosbreak, we may process:

• Account data: username, email address, password hash, registration date, account status, and linked game characters.
• Game data: character names, levels, inventory, progress, chat logs (where applicable for moderation), in-game actions, and support or penalty records.
• Payment data: purchase history, NBCoin balances, selected character for delivery, and transaction references. Payment card details are processed directly by Stripe; we do not store full card numbers on our servers.
• Technical data: IP address, browser type, device information, connection timestamps, and server logs used for security, abuse prevention, and troubleshooting.
• Communication data: messages sent through support tickets, contact forms, or community channels when you interact with our team.

4. Legal Basis (GDPR)

We process personal data based on:

• Contract performance — to provide your account, game access, shop purchases, and requested services.
• Legitimate interests — to secure our platform, prevent fraud and cheating, enforce rules, and improve stability.
• Legal obligations — where required by applicable law (e.g. tax or accounting records for payments).
• Consent — for optional cookies/analytics and certain communications, where applicable. You may withdraw consent at any time.

5. Cookies & Local Storage

We use browser local storage and, where necessary, cookies to operate the website. When you first visit, a cookie consent banner allows you to accept or reject optional storage.

You can change your cookie preferences at any time via "Cookie Settings" in the website footer.

6. Third-Party Services

We use trusted third parties to operate Nosbreak:

• Stripe — payment processing. Stripe's privacy policy applies to payment data handled by them: stripe.com/privacy
• Hosting & infrastructure — servers and databases used to run the website and game backend.
• Discord / YouTube — external community platforms. When you follow links to these services, their own privacy policies apply.

We do not sell your personal data to third parties.

7. Purchases & Donations

Shop payments and NBCoin purchases are treated as donations to support the private server. All purchases are made at your own risk. Virtual items and coins have no real-world monetary value and may be modified, removed, or reset as part of server maintenance or rule enforcement. Payments are non-refundable once completed — see our Terms of Service.

8. Data Retention

We retain personal data only as long as necessary for the purposes described above: for active accounts for the duration of the account; for payment records as required by law; for security and moderation logs for a reasonable period; and for support tickets until resolved plus a limited archive period. Deleted accounts may leave anonymized or aggregated data in backups for a limited time.

9. Your Rights

If you are in the EU/EEA or another jurisdiction with similar rights, you may have the right to:

• Access the personal data we hold about you
• Request correction of inaccurate data
• Request deletion of your data (subject to legal and operational limits)
• Restrict or object to certain processing
• Data portability, where applicable
• Withdraw consent for optional processing
• Lodge a complaint with the Spanish Data Protection Agency (AEPD) at aepd.es, or with your local EU data protection authority

10. Security & Children

We apply reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your data. No method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure. Nosbreak is not directed at children under 16. If you believe a minor has provided personal data without parental consent, please contact us so we can take appropriate action.

11. Changes

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected on this page with an updated date. Continued use of Nosbreak after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
